Review of Waddesdon: A historical agricultural community having a thirteenth century church, Waddesdon is situated approximately ten kilometres to the west of the town of Aylesbury in Bucks (Buckinghamshire). Ferdinand died in 1898, the estate passing down to his sister, Alice Charlotte de Rothschild.
